If my program is launching in September, I’m already laying out the details in July. It’s all about having a roadmap so that by the time launch day rolls around, I’ve covered my bases and I’m not scrambling.

I’m talking about creating the actual content, but also setting up things like email sequences, social media posts, and even guest appearances on other podcasts. I know it sounds intense, but I promise, giving yourself this time makes the launch feel so much smoother. Plus, when you have a plan, you can stay flexible and tweak things along the way instead of feeling rushed.

Try This: Start with a basic timeline that includes content creation, email sequences, and any promotional activities like podcast appearances or webinars. Break it down month by month so you know exactly what to focus on leading up to your launch.

#3: Leverage Collaborations to Boost Visibility

Collaborations are one of the most underutilized tools in the launch world. Seriously, partnering up can be a game-changer. Whether it’s joint ventures or affiliate programs, collaborations help you reach new audiences and add value to your launch.

For my own launches, I try to find experts who complement what I’m offering. For example, I might bring in guest speakers for my courses or do some cross-promotion with other creators. But here’s the key: make it easy for your collaborators. I always provide them with ready-made graphics, emails, and social posts so all they have to do is share. That way, promoting my launch is easy for them, and I get the added exposure without doubling my workload.

Try This: Find someone in your field who brings a unique perspective and could add value to your audience. Offer to promote each other’s work, do a bonus session together, or even bundle products. Just make sure it’s a good fit for both of you!

I’ve found that offering something smaller, like a low-cost mini-course or even a free lead magnet, is a great way to warm people up. This way, they get a taste of your expertise, and you build trust with them before pitching a bigger offer.

Think of it as dating before marriage! By creating these smaller entry points, you’re building a relationship that leads to more conversions when you launch the big program. And hey, it’s less pressure on both sides.

Try This: Create a small offer that introduces people to your style and approach. It could be a $30 workshop, a mini-guide, or a free checklist that speaks to their needs. Use this as a way to build your list and warm up leads before your main launch.

#5: Prioritize Visibility with Consistent Content

I try to line up podcast appearances, webinars, and social media content that all tie into my upcoming launch. This way, my audience hears about the program multiple times from different sources, which builds interest and trust.
