Tell us a little bit about your family and your Boss Mom journey.

I’m married to my husband, Paul of 14 yrs, have 3 boys, ages 20, 13 and 11, We moved from Southern CA to Western slope of Colorado 11 years ago. That’s when my Boss Mom journey started as a part time/hobby business. When I first moved to this town, my boys were still small, the oldest was in 4th grade, middle one was 2, the youngest was less than a year old. I quickly found a local moms group and became active in the group. That’s when I came across a lady who had a home-based business – direct sales marketing which peaked my interest, something I could do from home that I could have friends over and enjoy each others company. I’ve come a long way in the journey of entrepreneurship, from part-time-sort-of-hobby business to a serious home based business, helping mompreneurs in home-based business to have mindset shift and take their offline business to online so that they can expand their business beyond their local area.

What are some of your favorite go to meals when time is tight and dinner MUST get on the table?

Rice, Vegetable and tofu stir fry, or grilled salmon and some soup (like miso-soup or egg drop) My motto ~ when in doubt, cook rice! lol

Where do you go for inspiration?

Listening to Podcasts ~ Daily Hope by Pastor Rick Warren, Boss Mom podcast by Dana Malstaff & NJ, Achieve Your Goals by Hal Elrod, Smart Passive Income by Pat Flynn, Online Marketing Made Easy by Amy Porterfield are some of my favorites.

What are you currently reading or listening to (podcasts, books, blogs etc)?

My current read is Traveler’s Gift by Andy Andrews, actually just finished up and really enjoyed it. Also, I’m in the study called “Armor of God” by Priscilla Shirer.

What is one piece of business advice that you’d give to a mom just starting out?

I really believe we all need to have a clear vision as to where we want to go and why. Without this clarity, you can just get easily distracted. I’ve been there and done that!

What are some of your favorite quotes or words to live by?

“Find ways to serve many, service to many leads to greatness.” by Jim Rohn

In one word, sum up your life as a Boss Mom. – Purpose

What are three core values of your business and how do those values relate to your motherhood?

Faith, Hard Work, Integrity – Faith in God is the center of our family and motherhood. Without it, I don’t think I can make it through the chaos of motherhood! Whatever I do, I work hard and always encourage my boys to work hard. And always keep in mind, we are working hard for the Lord and not for men. Integrity and honesty go hand in hand and we value that in our family and in business.
