I Believe Loom is One of the Most Valuable Tools for Coaches

There are sooooo many amazing tools and services for business owners, and if you’re anything like me, you may sometimes find that you’ve got more tools than you know what to do with, and it can have a negative effect on your profit. It’s important to be discerning about the investments we make in our business so that we can grow without breaking the bank.

So when it comes time to choose tools that are a MUST for your business, I don’t pretend to know which ones are best for all businesses. One tool that stands out as one of the best tolls I’ve had in my coaching business is Loom. In this article, I want to share why I believe Loom is one of the most valuable tools for coaches and how it can transform the way you run your coaching practice.

Personal Connection with Prospects

In our hyper-pseudo-connected world, it’s easy to feel disconnected from the people we’re trying to reach. There’s so much noise in the world with notifications always buzzing and inboxes always full, it can feel overwhelming to take in all the content and communication coming our way. Emails and text messages, while convenient, often lack the personal touch that can make all the difference in building trust and rapport.

This is where Loom comes in. With Loom, you can create personalized video messages that show who you are, and give the recipient a feel for your energy and enthusiasm. Imagine being able to introduce yourself to a potential client with your smile, in your authentic words, not dried out by the lack of tone conveyed in written form.

Videos add a layer of authenticity that written words often can’t capture, making your prospects feel seen and valued right from the start.

Conveying Excitement and Ideas to Collaborators

When it comes to collaboration, conveying your excitement and ideas effectively is crucial. When someone gets to see your face as you share your passion for an idea you want to share, it’s that human element that can make all the difference. It’s not always easy to convey your enthusiasm in text or email, but in a video, the recipient gets to see your animation and feel what you’re sharing.

Instead of sending a long email detailing your proposal, you can create a short video that highlights the key points with your passion and enthusiasm. This makes pitching collaboration ideas and getting people on board with your big vision so much more connected. Loom makes it easy to get your message across as though you were face-to-face, which we all know is far more impactful.

Coaching with Boundaries

As coaches and moms, we know how important it is to manage our time and set boundaries to prevent burnout. We can’t just be on call at all times for clients, since we typically ARE on call at all times for our kids. However, finding the right balance between being accessible to our clients and protecting our own time can be challenging.

Loom allows you to give personalized feedback and guidance without the need for real-time calls. You can record video responses to your clients’ questions, walkthrough your feedback on client work, and give a quick tutorial for something you want a client to work on—all on your own schedule. This not only helps you maintain your boundaries but also ensures that your clients receive the support they need without having to wait all week.

Connecting with Community Members and Email List Subscribers

Community engagement is vital for any coach, and making your members feel valued and heard can significantly enhance their experience and loyalty.

Loom allows you to send personalized video messages to your community members and email list subscribers, making them feel special and appreciated. Whether it’s a welcome message for new subscribers, a thank-you note for loyal members, or a quick update on what’s new, these personal touches can go a long way in building a strong, connected community.

A tool all coaches should have…

With Loom, you bring your full energy to any interaction. There’s no loss of context, or missing the element of sharing your enthusiasm. It gives you a way to give your clients support as though you’re right there with them, on your schedule, without them having to wait a week in between calls with you. Walkthroughs, tutorials, and pitches become way more effective when you have the ability to speak through your ideas, share your screen, and give an “over the shoulder” experience to what you’re communicating with someone.

If you haven’t tried Loom yet, you should totally go check out all its features and see how it can fit into your business. You’ll be blown away by how it makes your work not only more effective but also more enjoyable.

I’d love to hear what tools you love the most for your business. Share below the tools that have made the biggest impact in running your business!
