I’m excited, and a little nervous, to introduce you to my person (my partner) Matt.

This is the first time we have talked about being a couple publically even though we have been together for years now.

We talk about the constant internal conflict between conforming to societal expectations and pursuing our authentic desires.

We talked about good communication and how running our own businesses has helped us as a couple.

In a world where societal expectations and norms often dictate our paths, it’s easy to feel shackled by circumstances that don’t resonate with our innermost wishes.

How do we recognize what we truly want?

Why is it so important that we have people around us that fuel our need to pursue what we want rather than take away from it?

In this episode, CEO of Pursuing Results Matt Johnson joins me to talk about building the life that we want.

We also talk about our relationship and why it’s important to grow in the same direction as your partner.

You have to give yourself permission to be brutally honest about what you want. -Matt Johnson
