Nicole Hoglund is a Small Business & Confidence Coach for entrepreneurs who are ready to create their own version of success and one half of the hosting duo of the BeYOUtifully Bold in Business Podcast. Basically she really wants you to see the power you bring to the table in your business and truly be confident in the goals you have. If she isn’t working you can find her hanging out with her husband and pup, having a great cup of coffee or glass of wine with friends, or on the couch watching really bad reality TV!

Tell us a little bit about your family and your Boss Mom journey.

So I have been married to my wonderful husband for 5 years. In that time we have moved twice and since he was military he was gone a ton. When he decided to get out, we decided to start trying to start having kids, and have been dealing with all the “wonderful” things that come with that. 2 miscarriages later we are not giving up and know we will one day have the family we want. We do have an 80 lbs. lap dog who is so cute but so tricky. I myself have a huge extended family and hail from Long Island, NY but live right outside of Nashville and I love that I can say that we get to stay here!

What are some of your favorite go to meals when time is tight and dinner MUST get on the table?
Crock-pot chicken taco’s, hands down this is the easiest meal I have ever made. Also sausage and peppers and anything that is a one pot meal! Those are my go-to’s but since I am now Gluten-less it has changed a bit!

Where do you go for inspiration?

What are you currently reading or listening to (podcasts, books, blogs etc)? Books, I love a good visioning book so I am currently working my way through “Fire Starter Sessions” by Danielle LaPorte. Also anything murder mystery or like magical are my go-to books. Podcasts, there are so many but this week my jam’s are Boss Mom, Smart Passive Income, Car Talk (do not ask, the husband got me hooked on this), and BeYOUtifully Bold in Business, because I have to edit it! 🙂

What is one piece of business advice that you’d give to a mom just starting out?

Do not let the influence of others, influence who you are and who you want to be. You have a choice and you can choose what you want to do! You always know what is best and your intuition will never fail you.

What are some of your favorite quotes or words to live by?
“You’ve always had the power my dear, you just had to learn it for yourself” ~ The Wizard of Oz

“Change is the only constant we can count on”

“Celebrate every darn Fat Baby Win!”

In one word, sum up your life as a Boss Mom.

“Mine” in the sense that it is my journey and no one else’s.

What are three core values of your business and how do those values relate to your motherhood?

Integrity, Joy and Community. These will eventually be translated into motherhood in a way where I will be able to surround myself with loving people, and I will be able to raise our kids with conviction but know that if there is not joy or fun around it, it is best to figure out how to inject it into their lives!
